On March 31, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Khorezm branch of the IT-park of software products and information technologies, the press service of the head of state reports.

"The complex, built for more than 15 billion soums, is able to train 4.5 thousand young people in information technology and provide IT services. Here, young people can master modern professions and find their place in life. 250 boys and girls are employed in the technopark itself" , the press service noted.

In addition, the complex created conditions for conducting courses and providing services from abroad. It is planned that exports this year will amount to $3 million.

The president also met with residents and young specialists of the IT park, who shared with him proposals for the development of the industry. As a result of the visit, relevant instructions were given to the responsible persons.

Recall that Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived on a working visit to the Khorezm region.
